Fire crews use fog spike to put out fire in Wilks Road, Dartford

Firefighters put out a blaze in the roof space of a house in Dartford.

Crews were called to Wilks Road at just after 7pm last night, where they were met with heavy smoke logging in the loft space, but no sign of fire.

They used thermal imaging equipment to find the fire inside the roof cavity, and used a fog spike to bring the temperature down.
