Each of the 24 schools which entered chose two winners after being invited by MP Gareth Johnson to take part.

James Waugh, centre director at Bluewater, said: "We are delighted to be marking Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee with an art exhibition that the youngest members of our local community have created.

"The winning portraits are fantastic and it is great to see each child’s own interpretation of the Queen shine through."

The exhibition is open from today (Friday) until June 10 and can be found on the Lower Rose Gallery, outside Superdrug.
