A children's play centre has temporarily closed after a break-in.

The Whale of A Time play centre in Charles Street, Greenhithe (pictured) was broken into overnight and the alarm system ripped out.

Owners Victoria Burn, 28 and her partner Nick Watson, 21, who took control of the centre a year ago, have had to cancel several events.

Ms Burn, who hopes to re-open the centre shortly, said: "I think it is disgusting that the victims of this burglary have been the children."
