Brothers punched by older boys in park

TWO brothers were attacked by some older boys they had been playing football with in the park.

One of the victims, a 10-year-old boy, was playing with a group of friends in Central Park in Dartford when two older boys, who were accompanied by two girls, asked to join in.

After a short while of playing football the victims tried to leave but were stopped by the older boys.

The 10-year-old was then punched in the face by one of the offenders and his brother was also hit in the stomach and the back.

The victims managed to escape and ran off towards the library in Market Street.

The offenders are described as white, aged between 12 and 13 and 4ft 10ins tall. One of the boys was wearing a pink T-shirt and blue jeans and the second boy was wearing black jogging bottoms.

The attack took place at 1.30pm on Sunday, July 8.
