All clear at clinic after lice found

CLEANING at a children’s outpatient clinic has been reviewed after woodlice were discovered.

The room at the Children’s Resource Centre, which is on the Darent Valley Hospital site on Darenth Wood Road, Dartford, was discovered by a member of the public.

The centre, which is managed by Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley Primary Care Trust, provides outpatient clinics, therapy sessions and nursery attendances for children with chronic or acute medical problems and disability.

A PCT spokesman said: "Having been alerted by a member of the public to an uncleaned room at the Children’s Resource Centre the Primary Care Trust is very please to report that the cleaning of the centre has been reviewed and is now of the highest standard."

The PCT added that it welcomed feedback comments from visitors to the centre and provides a book so that it can learn where action needs to be taken.
