Whitstable Town produced another stunning FA Trophy upset on the road to book their place in Monday’s second round draw and leave them just four wins from Wembley.

The Oystermen came from behind in a dramatic finale to overcome Ryman League Premier Division hosts Hendon on Sunday afternoon - the second straight round they have won away at a higher division opponents.

Hendon had lost just one of their previous eight games, but Town were also on a fine run, having lost one of 10 games, with wins over Carshalton in the previous round and Maidstone United in the Kent Senior Cup included.

The game was evenly contested until 21 minutes from time when much-travelled Jefferson Louis pounced to put Hendon ahead against the Ryman League Division 1 South visitors.

However the lead lasted just two minutes as Nicky Southall’s side responded with defender Laurence Harvey finding the net and Charlie Smith sent Town fans into dreamland with the winner 15 minutes from time.
