Kent will hope to brush off their post-Trophy final blues by cementing their place in the NatWest Pro40 League promotion spots on Monday afternoon when they take on the Derbyshire Phantoms in their re-arranged Division 2 match.

Put back 24 hours because of Kent's Friends Provident Trophy clash with Essex at Lord's, this will be Spitfires' first and only meeting of the summer with the Phantoms.

Derbyshire lie sixth in the table with only one win from their three starts and are in a state of disruption following last week's decision by their captain, Rikki Clarke, to stand down.

Spitfires will be gunning for their 20th league win over the Phantoms in what will be their 35th meeting in the competition.

Kent may have to rest some of their walking wounded from Saturday's defeat to Essex and the likes of Azhar Mahmood (knee) and Yasir Arafat (side) may be given a chance to recuperate.

Weather permitting, the game is scheduled for a 1.40pm start.
