Kent's Joe Denly has suffered an injury blow while playing for Brisbane Heat in the BBL.
Denly dislocated a finger on his left hand during their clash with Sydney Sixers on Sunday while fielding during the first over of Sixers' reply.
The 34-year-old had earlier made seven with the bat from as many balls in his side's total of 148 from 20 overs.
It's been a mixed time with the bat for Denly who has recorded scores of 19, 50 and a first-ball duck for the Heat.
That half-century came during their clash with Sydney Thunder, who fielded Kent captain Sam Billings.
Talking about the experience of facing his county skipper earlier this week, Denly said: "I don't know if it was the first time I have played against him as I may have done during my time at Middlesex.
"It was a little strange, but it was good fun and great to catch up with him.
"At the end of the day I think ultimately we want each other to do well regardless if we are on opposing teams."
