CANTERBURY'S remarkable unbeaten run at Scottish’s Richmond Athletic Ground continued with a fifth consecutive win over the exiles.

The narrow win completed a National League 3 double over the side from the capital and helped the city club leapfrog their opponents into third place in the table.

Scottish were unbeaten at home until this encounter and despite pinning Canterbury in their own half until the interval, the exiles could only manage a single try and somehow went into the break five points behind.

Superb No.8 Neil Meyer crashed over a try at the end of the first half which was converted by Gert De Kock, who also added a penalty.

Scottish notched a penalty and a try within minutes of the restart to take the lead but Theo Rhodes scored a fine brace midway through the period, and De Kock added a conversion to put the visitors in charge.

Scottish added another try but failed with their third conversion and despite Canterbury going down to 14-men at the end they withstood late pressure and held on for the win.
