Cavalier Labradors continued their winning home run in the East Kent Short Mat Association with a convincing 49-16 victory over Aylesham Warblers.

The triple of Wilf Laughton, Jim Bellingham and Mike Holmes (skip) picked up a hotshot on their way to a 31-6 triumph while on the other mat, short newcomers Tony Bailey and John Phillips partnered skip John Rains to an 18-10 success.

Each club won on one mat in the return fixture at Aylesham but it was the home side who came through on aggregate, 29-27.

For Labradors, John Rains (skip), Pat Solly and Phyllis Francis won 17-13 but Mike Holmes (skip), Jim Bellingham and Wilf Laughton went down 16-10.
