Protesters take to the streets of Whitstable to protest at Royal Mail's plans

on Postal workers in Whitstable have voted to take more industrial actionSaturday, January 26, as part of their fight against Royal Mail plans to close the town's delivery office in Cromwell Road.

It follows a strike and day of action on Saturday in which more than 300 people turned out to support the postmen with arally and march through the town.

Royal Mail has now said it intends to close the office on February 11 and move all the staff to Canterbury sorting office.
