EMERGENCY services raced to Thanington Road in Canterbury this afternoon (Tuesday) after a crash involving two cars.

Police, firecrews and ambulances arrived at the scene, traffic lights close to Morrison’s supermarket, at around 2.45pm.

Three people were involved in the accident.

Traffic quickly built up in the area and long tailbacks snaked their way through the industrial estate.

Some motorists were diverted away from the scene to allow emergency crews to clear the incident.
