Teenager assaulted as he left wine bar

KENT Police are looking for witnesses after a 17-year-old youth received an eye injury when he and a friend were assaulted as they left a wine bar.

The assault happened in St Margaret’s Street, Canterbury, as the pair were walking towards Watling Street.

They were jumped on and hit by two men with whom they had been involved in an altercation earlier in the evening in Alberry’s wine bar

They men are described as stockily built. One had spiky hair.
