CCTV image released after teen seriously assaulted in Canterbury city centre

A teenager suffered a head injury in a serious assault in a high street.

Detectives are now investigating and have released CCTV footage of three men who could assist inquiries.

On Saturday, October 7, it was reported a teenage boy was assaulted in St George’s Street, Canterbury, and sustained a head wound needing hospital treatment.

It is alleged the victim was walking with two friends in the area at about 4am when they spoke to another group of people.

The victim was then assaulted shortly after.

Officers are appealing for witnesses into the incident and have released the image of three men they would like to speak to as they may have information connected to the incident.
