Ram raiders target hospital and zoo park

RAM RAIDERS launched two attacks within minutes of each other in the early hours of this morning at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital and the nearby Howletts Wild Animal Park.

The gang of four masked men first struck at 4am at the hospital's fracture clinic, driving a 4x4 vehicle through the glass entry doors in a bid to get at a cash machine.

Just 15 minutes later, the same gang is thought to have targeted Howletts at Bekesbourne, ram raiding the cafeteria and stealing a cash machine.
