Police cordon off Canterbury park after 'rape' of girl, 15

Police are investigating the alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl.

Detectives investigating the sex assault report have cordoned off a park in Canterbury.

It comes after the allegation this morning that the teenager was raped shortly before midnight on Friday.

As part of the inquiry, officers have put a cordon in place in the Toddler’s Cove playground, off Whitehall Road.

Enquiries are ongoing.
