Teenage gang rob man in cemetery in St Martin's Hill, Canterbury

A gang of teenagers have threatened and robbed a man in a city cemetery.

It happened between 10pm and 10.30pm on Saturday off St Martin’s Hill where the victim was forced to hand over his bank and travel cards.

The three suspects, a man and two women, are thought to be in their late teens.
The man is described as slim, around 5ft 10inches, with long dark brown hair and wearing a black coat with a blue hooded top and jeans.

Both women are described as slim, around 5ft 4inches with long blonde hair. One was said to be wearing a white top and the other a black vest top with shorts.

Anyone with information or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area should call police on 01843 222289, quoting reference ZY/024891/17.
