Police release CCTV from Canterbury McDonald’s in assault probe

Police investigating an assault that saw two men injured have released images of three boys they want to identify.

Officers are continuing to investigate a street attack in Canterbury which saw two victims requiring hospital treatment.

Police say an altercation broke out at the junction of St George’s Street and Whitefriars Street in Canterbury on Sunday, July 2, shortly after 7pm.

A police spokesman said:” Two men were reportedly assaulted by a group of teenage boys and required hospital treatment for injuries.

“Detectives from East Kent CID are now able to release CCTV images of three boys who may be able to assist enquiries.”

The images have been taken from CCTV in the McDonald’s in St George’s Street.
