More than 20 firefighters have been tackling a blaze at an oast house in Chilham overnight.

Crews were called to the conversion home in Canterbury Road at just before 9pm.

The fire is thought to have started in the chimney and spread to the rest of the two-storey property.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said one man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Four fire crews and a height vehicle had brought the fire under control by just after 10pm.
