Three robbers armed with hammers smashed display cases at Mappin and Webb in Rose Lane, Canterbury, on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 31.

The thieves escaped with watches, rings and necklaces. Police say they fled in blue Peugeot 207 car, registration DS07 UXA, that was parked behind British Home Stores.

A member of the public suffered a minor injury during the raid when he was hit over the head.

The robbers are all described as black, aged in their early 20s and wearing dark clothing. One of the gang had a scarf covering his face and another wore a baseball cap.
