A fire ripped through a Faversham garage last night.

Fire crews spent nearly two hours tackling the blaze in Ospringe Road.

The emergency services were called shortly before 9pm to the fire in the residential garage.

Police were forced to close the road as three fire engines worked to put out the flames.

Crews had the fire under control by 22.25pm and the road was re-opened one way from Faversham towards Sittingbourne.
