Faversham won the Bulmers Cider Kent League title in style on Wednesday with an 8-0 thrashing of Corinthian at Salters Lane.

It means Justin Luchford's (pictured) side have won promotion to the Ryman League with a game to spare - and completed the double after their Kent Senior Trophy triumph on Sunday.

Dale Skelton gave Faversham a 1-0 half-time lead but they ran riot after the break with four goals coming in the last 13 minutes.

Dane Luchford's cross sailed over the keeper to make it 2-0, Skelton scored the third and substitute Richard Sinden made it 4-0.

Sinden helped in Lee Shearer's header for the fifth, Dave Souton fired home the sixth and then John-Paul Collier scored the goal of the night from 25 yards.

There was still time for Michael Smissen to burst through and score the final goal of the evening with Corinthian's frustrations compounded when they had a player sent-off for a second booking.

Faversham captain Tom Hickman was presented with the Premier Division trophy by Kent League chair Denise Richmond at the final whistle.
