KENT Police have named a 39-year-old woman driver killed in a road accident involving two other vehicles.

Colleen van Rooyen, a talented teacher and devoted single mother, died when her Toyota Starlet was involved in an accident with two Honda Civics being driven in the opposite direction by an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old.

She had been on her way to collect her son, Joshua, from Simon Langton Boys’ School at Canterbury when the collision occurred in the city's Hollow Lane on Wednesday last week.

Ms van Rooyen lived lived at Wincheap, Canterbury, and taught maths at the Senacre School of Technology in Maidstone.
