A car has overturned following a collision with a van on the busy A2 near Brenley Corner this morning, which is blocking the inside lane of the dual carriageway.

An ambulance was at the scene but it is not thought the woman driver of the car is badly injured.

It happened shortly after 8am in the London-bound carriageway and the inside lane remains closed while the damaged vehicles are recovered.

It means the rush hour traffic has to filter into the outside lane which is causing long tailbacks towards Harbledown
