Cathedral angered by terrorist attack video game

CANTERBURY Cathedral authorities have asked for a terrorism computer game in which the building is blown up to be withdrawn.

War on Terror also features tanks and troopts in the Cathedral Precincts in what makers Deep Silver call a battle "against the biggest threats of the world today".

Cathedral spokesman Christopher Robinson said: "Having the Cathedral as aesthetic wallpaper for violence and hatred isn’t appropriate."

Other buildings featured in the game include the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, and the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany.

War on Terror's distributors have said the game will not be withdrawn.
