Canterbury are hoping for a break in the big freeze as they prepare to travel to meet Bristol side Dings Crusaders on Saturday, kick-off 2.30pm.

Heavy midweek snow in the West Country has put the National 2 South game in doubt and with the weather ruling out any league games last weekend the city club are looking at a growing backlog of fixtures.

With Tom Rogers ruled out for another week as he recovers from concussion the hooker's spot in Saturday's squad goes to Steve Goode, while the replacements bench includes promising development players Sam Rogers and Georgios Bertolis.

Canterbury squad: G De Kock, C Littlechild, B Thomas, P Sykes, M Melford, P Gibson, J Long, J Stanford, S Goode, M Pinnick, R Keir, M Lister, C Hinkins, P Kelly, E Roche, N Woodbridge, T McArthur, S Rogers, W Alkin, G Bertolis.
