Canterbury Ladies cruised to a convincing 4-0 win over Olton & West Warwicks to move into the National Premier Division comfort zone on Saturday.

Jen Wilson set the hosts on their way at Polo Farm with a ninth-minute goal and Mel Clewlow doubled the advantage on 29 minutes from a penalty corner.

After the break Natasha Brennan made the game safe before Kathleen Taylor rounded off the scoring on 57 minutes.

The win took Canterbury up to fifth in the table, though they are 18 points behind leaders Leicester who are romping to the title having won all of their 11 games so far.

The win also put nine points between Canterbury and Bowdon Hightown who lie second-bottom in a relegation play-off place.
