Canterbury Ladies go top of the EHL Women's Premier Division

Canterbury Ladies Hockey Club moved to the top of the EHL Women's Premier Division following their 5-1 home success over Cannock on Saturday.

They have taken over pole position from Slough who lost 1-0 at home to Bowdon Hightown.

Canterbury led 2-1 at half-time through goals from Lucy Hyams and Sarah Kerly and then Rebecca Weston, Natalie Seymour and Mel Clewlow (pictured) all scored from penalty corners in the second half.

Canterbury Men remain bottom of the Premier Division after drawing 4-4 at fellow strugglers Cannock.

Canterbury's scorers were Tom Butt (2), Matthew Botha and Liam Foster.
