Canterbury city councillor Martin Fisher denies sex offences

Canterbury city councillor Martin Fisher has appeared at Canterbury Crown Court and denied a total of 20 sex offences against him.

Mr Fisher, 60, of Queens Road, Whitstable is accused of nine offences of indecent assault or sexual assault involving children, some of the allegations dating back to the 1980s and 11 offences of possessing or making indecent images of children.

A trial date was fixed for Tuesday, November 30 and he must continue to live at Blenheim Road, Sittingbourne as a condition of his bail.
