Biker rushed to hospital after Canterbury crash

A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after coming off his bike in Canterbury on Thursday morning.

The 24-year-old, who lives in the city, crashed near the Cross Keys pub in Old Dover Road at 11.40am.

The road was closed for two hours while he was treated and taken to the William Harvey hospital in Ashford. Police say he suffered a fracture but his injuries were not life threatening.
