Police appeal after teen ‘threatened and robbed’ after getting off bus in Woodberry Grove, Bexley

Police are appealing for information after a teenager was reportedly threatened with a knife and robbed.

The victim got off a bus just before 11.55pm on Tuesday (May 9) and started walking home when he was approached by a man in Woodberry Grover in Joydens Wood, Bexley.

The man had reportedly been on the same bus and followed the teen as he left the vehicle and allegedly threatened him with a knife and stole his black Moncler jacket.

Police have released this image hoping this man might be able to help with inquiries.

Drivers with dashcam who may have been in the area at the time are being asked to check for relevant footage.

Investigating office PC Ellis Langford said: “Following initial investigations, which included house-to-house inquiries and a thorough review of CCTV, we are now in a position to release CCTV images of a man who may be able to help with inquiries.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to get in touch.”
