It follows an incident on December 29 in which the victim was found at Throwley Close in south-east London with multiple injuries sustained during a prolonged attack.

He was taken to hospital for treatment before being discharged.

Five people were charged last month in connection with the investigation.

An appeal has now been launched to find 25-year-old Grant who police wish to speak to in connection with the incident.

He is known to have links across the south-east, including Abbey Wood, Dartford, and Maidstone.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 101 quoting reference Cad 5456/2May.

Alternatively, contact can be made anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
