Penalty shootout

GOALKEEPER Pete Tosland was the Aldington hero at Reachfields Stadium last week securing his side the Division 3 Cup.

Aldinton won 4-3 on penalties with Tosland making one vital save and then stepping up to rifle home the decisive fifth penalty.

The two sides were locked at 0-0 after extra time with Aldington having the better of the first half and Wye making a stronmg fightback in the second period.

But in a tense penalty shootout it came down to Tosland keeping his nerve stepping up for the final spot kick and converting in style.

Wye will now aim to wrasp up the league title.
