Three arrested following burglaries in Borough Green and Ashford

Three suspects have been arrested and charged with burgling homes in Borough Green and Ashford after police stopped a car in London.

The men were arrested just hours after high-value watches, wedding and engagement rings and bank cards were reported stolen during two break-ins.

Police from Surrey stopped a Ford Focus in Hammersmith and seized a number of suspicious items.

A Kent police spokesman said: "All the occupants were arrested and transferred into custody in Kent."

The burglaries are alleged to have happened on Tuesday (Nov 8) after thieves smashed windows to get into a home off Maidstone Road, Borough Green and broke into a property in Field Mill Road, Egerton, Ashford.

Jorge Bravo, 36, of Saltram Crescent, Maida Vale, London, is charged with three counts of burglary and driving without insurance.

Jorge Espinoza, 18, of the same address, is charged with two counts of burglary and handling stolen goods.

Williams Jean-Michel Andres, 27, of Tyers Street, Vauxhall, London, is charged with two counts of burglary and handling stolen goods.

All three appeared at Medway magistrates court yesterday (Friday) (Nov 11) and were remanded in custody. They are to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on December 9.
