Two people have been flown to hospital following a crash.

The collision involved two cars in Kingsnorth Road, Ashford just before 4.30pm.

One casualty was already out of one of the vehicles when firefighters arrived at the scene but crews using hydraulic rescue equipment cut another person from the wreckage.

Both people were transported to hospital by the Kent, Surrey and Sussex air ambulance. The extend of their injuries is not known.

Emergency crews left the area at 5.18pm.
