Motorists have been facing delays after a crash in the outside lane of the M20 between Maidstone and Ashford.

The lane remains closed while the crash is being cleared after the collision heading westbound on the motorway near the village of Charing.

According to Traffic England the incident should be clear by 10am this morning.

Meanwhile bus passengers and motorists have faced congestion after traffic light signal failures in Ashford.

Stagecoach has reported that some services were delayed by as long as half an hour because of the problems.
