A new exhibition is being staged to mark the changes to Ashford's Bank Street.

As the first part of the shared space scheme for the town centre to open, the key street leading into the town centre has a wealth of history, and its changing face is represented at the exhibition at Ashford Museum.

The show in the upstairs room also features residents’ individual memories of Bank Street and all it has offered through the years. This will be updated by organisers during the length of the exhibition, which runs until the end of October.

Entry is free but donations would be welcome.

The museum is open Monday to Saturday, 10am - 1pm and is located within the churchyard surrounding St Mary’s Church, next to the tourist information office.
