Suspect charged with burglary at Kamsons Pharmacy in Ashford High Street

A suspected burglar is accused of breaking into a town centre pharmacy and stealing medication.

Police were called after a window was broken at Kamsons Pharmacy in Ashford High Street at around 4am on Monday.

Following an investigation by Ashford's community safety unit and local policing teams, Joseph Creasey was yesterday charged with burglary.

The 36-year-old, of Wellesley Road in Ashford, appeared before Folkestone Magistrates' Court on the same day.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on a date to be arranged.
