Two men forced open supermarket tills before stealing cash and cigarettes last night.

Raiders - including one who is thought to have had a gun - struck at the Co-op store in Sellindge at about 10pm.

Staff said two men burst into the Main Road shop before forcing open the tills.

Kent Police said they escaped with cash and cigarettes, which they had stuffed into a carrier bag.

A third man was outside the shop and it is believed he might have had a handgun.
