There will be an impressive parachute display at 6.15pm at the Proms Spectacular before the iconic Spitfire BM597 flyover at 7.05pm - accompanied by Second World War film themes.

The evening will host Proms music, including the Rule Britannia, the Hornpipe, Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory along with other pieces by the Orion Orchestra.

A firework display will then light up the skies at the end of the event.

People have been invited to bring picnics but the organisers have asked people to take their litter home or put it in a bin on site.

Tickets are £40 for the Proms Night and £15 for children under 16.
