Search for trucker over A20 fatality

POLICE investigating a fatal collision on the A20 have released a photograph of a lorry. They want to trace the driver who may be able to assist their enquiries.

Two men were found lying in the rain at Sellindge, near Ashford, on Sunday, October 8.

One of them died from multiple injuries and the other was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition with a cracked pelvis.

A police spokesman said: "We would like to speak to the driver of the lorry described as a creamy-white coloured articulated trailer and cab with the word Spirit in blue writing on the trailer."

A lorry driver from the Czech Republic who was arrested on the M20 on October 10 in connection with the incident was released without charge.
