Scott Porter is looking to put Hythe’s midweek FA Trophy exit behind him, and concentrate on seeing them climb the Ryman League Division 1 South table.
Cup commitments mean they have only played four league games so far this season, and find themselves bottom of the table.
Porter (pictured) said: "The game against Tooting (on Saturday)is now our most important game. The first two months of the season have been frustrating.
"We have suffered from a lack of games and performances, and need to be playing twice a week at this time of the year when the pitches are better.
"We have now got a good run of games coming up over the next month, and need to start climbing the table."
Hythe’s lack of Ryman football sees them facing seven games this month, with the Tooting match, followed by a trip to Maidstone next Tuesday (7.45pm).
