The business sells games, puzzles, arts and crafts items and German-language children's and youth books.

It has shops all over the globe including France, Italy and Belgium, but only one other in the UK - in Bicester.

The new store can be found in the original section of the outlet, next to clothes shop Roman.

The first customers through the doors on Thursday were invited to spin a wheel for a chance to bag some in-store discounts.

The company, which launched in 1883, operates three brands - Ravensburger, BRIO and ThinkFun.

A message on the firm's website reads: "Products carrying the Ravensburger blue triangle aim to inspire fun, opportunities for learning, and valuable shared moments between children, family, and friends – reflecting the brand’s core values of 'enjoyment, education and togetherness'."
