More than 150 children and staff from Aldington primary school helped set a new world record for skipping.
The 155 participants all skipped for the necessary three minutes along with various schools across the country to beat the record of 7,000 people and to take it to a truly impressive 20,000.
Deputy head teacher Jose Diez said: “The staff found it more difficult than the children but they all tried really hard and we felt it the next day.”
As the invigilator, Mr Diez did not escape the ordeal.
He said: “The head teacher made me skip for a minute at the end in front of everyone - it was tough enough just for a minute!”
