A police dog helped track down a suspect in a stolen motorbike investigation.

During the early hours of this morning, police were called to reports that a vehicle had been stolen from a property in Magnolia Drive, Ashford.

Officers attended and saw the motorbike with the suspects, who then made off.

Following a search by officers and PD Elsa, one was found in nearby Constantine Road.

A 17-year-old boy from Ashford was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

He remains in custody while inquiries continue.
