DETECTIVES have been given a 36-hour extension to continue questioning the 45-year-old husband of a woman found dead at her home.

The man, who has not been named, was arrested after the body of his wife, a 42-year-old mother, was discovered in Langney Drive, on the Washford Farm estate, South Ashford, at around noon on Tuesday.

It was confirmed today that magistrates had granted police a custody extension last night as they continue their inquiries.
