Ashford man and teen arrested after man injured in reported assault in alley near Norwood Gardens

Two people have been arrested after a man was allegedly punched and kicked in a gang attack.

The victim was walking in an alleyway close to a field in Norwood Gardens, Ashford, at about 5pm yesterday, when he was reportedly punched and kicked by a group of four men.

He sustained injuries to his face and chest.

A17-year-old boy and a 28-year-old man, both from Ashford, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in custody as police continue their enquiries.

Investigating officers believe some members of the public may have seen the incident taking place, and could have information that can assist officers.
