Man arrested after disturbance at a football match near The Swan Centre, Ashford

A man has been arrested after a disturbance broke out during a football match.

Four police cars and a police van were seen at The Swan Centre in Willesborough, Ashford shortly after 12.30pm.

Officers arrived after receiving calls about a disturbance near Turner Close, where a match was taking place.

A man was arrested in connection with an assault and taken into custody.

Nobody has reported any injuries.
