Kent soccer mourns Audrey Lancaster

AUDREY LANCASTER, widow of former Ashford Town secretary Alan Lancaster, has died of heart failure in a London hospital. She was 77.

The duo were one of the longest serving partnerships in football adminstration with Alan doing 52 years at Ashford's secretary. He died last year.

Audrey was a vice-president of the KCFA and a honoured member of the Kent Referees Association. She was known by referees all over the country and still regularly went to Ashford branch meetings.
