ASHFORD may not be a celebrity hotspot but it is home to a very special award-winning dog.

Coco, a Norfolk Terrier, trotted into the spotlight on Sunday when she was judged best in show at Crufts.

The six-year-old is owned by Pamela Beale, Stephanie Ingram and Elisabeth Matell, who are all from Ashford.

Coco, whose full name is Champion Cracknor Cause Celebre and had three puppies in July, beat six other group winners to the title.

It was the first time the breed has won the event which was held at the National Exhibition Centre Birmingham and is in its 102nd year.
